Navigating the grey areas when people and policies collide. Join our scenario-led webinar on the realities of reasonable adjustments.
This webinar explores the complex, real world challenges organisations face when making decisions about reasonable adjustments, particularly when they conflict with health and safety, internal policies, or risk considerations. Rather than focusing on theory or checklists, the session uses practical, scenario led discussions to examine “grey areas” where managers want to support individuals but encounter resistance.
Led by Jodie Hill (Thrive Law) and Jess Meredith (Differing Minds), they will demonstrate how to balance legal compliance, safety, and person centred approaches while maintaining consistency and defensibility. Through interactive elements and real workplace examples, attendees gain tools to navigate difficult decisions with greater confidence.
Participants leave with a clearer understanding of where flexibility is possible, how to communicate decisions effectively, and how to adopt a more thoughtful, human approach, whether the outcome is “yes,” “no,” or a workable alternative.
Attendees are encouraged to send through any questions or real-life scenarios in advance so Jodie and Jess can incorporate as many as possible into the session.
